The origin of Meetei ECA Singlup can be traced back in the ministry of Pastor L. Somendro Meetei in the year 1990. He founded an indigenous Children Ministry which was later on rechristened as Meetei Singlup Tuibong Zion Veng With his zeal and hard-work the Church was erected in the year 1997. This mission agency was instrumental in spreading the gospel and planting of Local churches among Meeteis. Meetei Singlup is a church rooted in evangelical tradition and presently has membership of more than hundred.
